Posted In: ComicsThere was some weird smell that kept appearing at my old office job. The first 5 or so times I was convinced I stepped in dog poop. There was never anything there. I even took my shoes off and held them right up to my nose in case I was stepping in some sort of horrible liquid or some such. Never figured out what it was. It still haunts me.

by Chris on May 21, 2012 at 12:00 am I heard this nursery rhyme many times as a kid. I’m not sure if the point was “What the heck is a tuffet?” or “What is she eating?” I definitely got the “Kids, run away from spiders.” part, we all understood that.

by Chris on May 18, 2012 at 12:00 am I think CFL bulbs will be replaced in the coming years by LED housed in a traditionally shaped bulb. There will be this weird generation of kids that will say “Remember when lightbulbs were all twisty like an ice cream cone?” But the people that came before and after will think of bulbs as the old fashioned shape.

by Chris on May 18, 2012 at 12:00 am I think exposure to sounds when you are an infant gives you the ability to sleep through them when you are older. Whatever the real reason, my son has thankfully inherited my ability to sleep through most anything. He has a rather noisy bed if an adult sits on it.b If he falls asleep during story time its impossible to leave his room without a full minute of sound effects from “Creaky Old Boat: The Movie”.
